This is most important on road bikes as the nature of road riding and racing places the rider in one body position that they rarely move from for the entire length of the ride. So that position has to be exactly right.
As a comparison, off-road riding on Mountain Bikes sees the rider moving around, shifting body position to correct the balance of the bike over differing terrain. Riding position is still very important, but not as critical as on a road bike.
After many years of experience and continual learning, Riviera Cycles' Gary Jackson has established himself as an expert in the field of position set up for bicycle riding and racing, and this knowledge he has passed to key staff. Gary is available by appointment to evaluate your current riding position and make suggestions and changes to enable you to ride with more power, better aerodynamics, and most of all, improved comfort.

A Riviera Cycles Bike Fit on your existing bicycle takes about 30 minutes and costs $45. This can be refunded upon purchasing a bicycle from Riviera Cycles.
